I hereby authorize Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber Company and Associated Companies (the "Company") to conduct an investigation of all of the information contained in this "Employment Inquiry" and resume (if provided) for consideration of employment. I understand that this investigation may include contact of previous employers (except those excluded by me), educational institutions, and references listed. I also understand that the investigation may include, but not be limited to, a credit check and review of my driving record.
I hereby authorize any and all persons, companies, corporations,organizations or institutions having knowledge of my background and suitability for employment to provide such information to the Company, and I hereby release them from any and all liability and agree to hold them harmless for furnishing such information in good faith. Additionally, I agree to indemnify the Company against any liability which may result from the conduct of this investigation.
I understand that failure to supply information completely and truthfully on the "Employment Inquiry" or other required documents shall be considered sufficient cause for denial of employment or termination of employment if hired.
I understand that if I am employed by the Company that Employment at the Company is "at will" for an indefinite period, and may be terminated by either the Company or by me, with or without cause, at any time.
Furthermore, I understand that no written or oral representation by any representative of the Company (including this "Employment Inquiry" or any granted interview) is intended to nor can it create a contract of employment. No employment practice of the Company is intended to create a contract of employment. No changes in the Company's employment "at will" policy will be effective unless executed in writing and signed by the President and Chief Operating Officer.
I agree that if I am employed by the Company, I will comply with all of the Company's policies, procedures, guidelines and practices. I understand that failure to comply may be grounds for disciplinary action, up to and including, termination of employment.
