Standard & Better grade lumber is more widely used than other grades for general construction purposes; used for subfloors, roof and wall sheathing, concrete forms and similar types of construction; this grade may also include grades Better than Standard
The wood dried at during as part of the manufacturing process and is less likely to warp or check after installation
Tongue and groove joints allow the boards to be joined strongly together and function as a single flat surface
